RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST– LAE

Chemcare Group Limited is seeking a qualified and motivated Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technician) to join our Care Clinic Team in Lae. Reporting to the Care Clinic General Medical Practitioner, this role will perform radiographic examinations, ensure radiation safety compliance, and work collaboratively with medical staff to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Perform general X-ray and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained.
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
• Operate and perform routine checks on imaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Support emergency, trauma, and mobile imaging services as required.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

This role is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented, committed to quality patient care and able to work effectively in a busy clinic environment.

Skills / Qualification / Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for registration & practice in Papua New Guinea.
• Experience in diagnostic radiography and digital imaging systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection principles.
• Strong analytical, organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work independently in a fast – paced healthcare environment.
