In November of 2011, Chemcare Group was awarded a Good Corporate Citizen Award by the Minister Hon. Martin Aini, MP from the Department of Labour and Industrial Relations. Chemcare Group was awarded this recognition for the Group’s excellent contribution to the recruiting and training of Papua New Guinean workers, compliance with the Employment of Non-citizens Act 2007 and Immigration Laws, and the practice of sound employment.
Chemcare Group is registered with the National Training Council as a Training Provider and currently has one registered Master Trainer and four registered Trainers among its staff. Over 700 members of staff have completed National Training Council accredited courses, at Chemcare Group's in-house training facilities.

For PNG pharmacists, new graduates are welcome provided they are registered with the Pharmacy Board. All non PNG pharmacists are required to have experience working for a busy retail drug store or hospital pharmacy, at managerial level or above.
